Autumn is the best season to enjoy crabs, and this time, I went to the market to pick out some fresh and plump hairy crabs. The crab meat is tender, and the roe is rich and flavorful, making it hard to stop after just one bite. I also paired it with hibiscus-flavoured ribs and stir-fried taro stems, which are sweet and tangy, a perfect complement to the crabs. Besides the steamed crabs, I made some other flavours for the family to enjoy! A pot of spicy and fragrant Burmese-style spicy crabs, with a rich and unique taste. Enjoying such a crab feast in autumn is truly one of life’s great pleasures!
