  1. Back in June my wife and I drove from Atlanta, Ga. to Texas and made sure we went to Bar-A-BBQ on a Saturday to have the beef rib. It is awesome! We also went to Goldees BBQ outside Fort Worth. Voted best BBQ in Texas in Texas Monthly and it is really good!

  2. Why is the price per pound so expensive? Not being sarcastic here, it just seems to me that you can buy brisket for about 5 bucks a pound for prime grade. I know businesses are in it for profit but this margin seems like gouging to me. Anyone have an explanation that could help me understand?

  3. I think they have done a great job of taking some classic sausage making techniques (sort of(cold smoking is below 80 F, but I'm quibbling)) and incorporating them into American BBQ technique. Hoping to hit them up soon on a weekend.

And thanks for the review, Mr. Yoder.

  4. The thing that bothers me about those restaurants is this: you're probably eating the best BBQ in the world, but it's served on cardboard trays and with plastic forks. It wouldn't hurt to serve it on a decent plate and with proper knives and forks.

    Worth a discussion.
