Two things. Use fresh garlic not that jar stuff. That stuff has additives and preservatives and is unnecessary. Second no need to add dan o's.

You shouldn't have to dump seasoning onto your food. If the seasoning is any good it usually would not take very much to make your food taste good.
If you're going to use fresh basil, use fresh garlic. That processed garbage isn't good.

As an Italian, I approve. Lots of little things done correctly. He knows the right tomatoes, blended the sauce, salted his pasta and added it to the sauce. He really did show a super quick version. I’d even recommend 3-4 hours on low.
