What is the purpose of the nutritional yeast? I’m lactose intolerant and I have Celiac disease, so finding a yummy alternative that’s gluten free and lactose free isn’t always easy. I still consume dairy, if it’s lactose free, to get enough calcium into my diet. I always thought nutritional yeast gave a cheesy kind of flavour to vegan dishes, or is that a myth?
