  1. I love his attitude. It isn't about the recipe, It is about cooking. "I usually use wine, but this time I am using V-8." It's what's in the refrigerator? I'm hungry….. (It always come out elegant.)

  3. I culd devour anything this Man cooks!! Is food is simple for the most part bcuz he doesn't go Crazy with the ovr seasoning as most Cooks do nowadays. This Man IS a True Chef. I do wonder wat happened to his left shoulder tho. Injury/ Surgery possibly

  4. Jacques Pepin has ascended to the point of being able to make homestyle meals in literal minutes with a number of ingredients you can count on one hand. He's been honing his craft over several decades. This was ridiculously easy to make and incredibly delicious.

I think it's a greater test of an artist to ask them to do something simple – something they would have done in the beginning. Jacques Pepin is a masterwork Chef… It doesn't matter if you give him world class ingredients or you give him spam and day old bread – he will return to you something truly special.

  5. Love checking out these videos. Just full of simple and quick meal ideas with ingredients you can get at any supermarket, with no pretentiousness. Easy recipes done extraordinarily.

I can see why Anthony Bourdain looked up to him.

  6. Thank you Chef Jacques! This’ll be the second of your tenderloin recipes I’ll make, though I’ll use some of my homemade sauce to deglaze instead of the V8, and add frozen peas to the mushrooms instead of corn. Perfect!
