Should've just sand blasted it. Done in 30 seconds.
Would ice work for cleaning?
I would use cup brush as well, you could easily get rid of those dark spots
Grills like this aren’t supposed to be “seasoned”
I need this done to mines
"Darlean..You burn the bugers again honey?
..Just wheel it to the neighbours house so he can make a new video for his Youtoobs"
You know the griddle part just lifts off the base right?
Great job, anyone that’s ever took on the task of cleaning one of these from neglect knows your pain. It almost makes you not want to cook on it because it’s gotta be clean after every cook. But when seasoned correctly and taking care of cleaning is a breeze.
I was like return it, no let's make a carnita asada or some tacos😂.
That's cool how you put the product you use on the side right there I like that
Next time buy a $10 gallon of muriatic acid. It would have taken that rust off. Also get LONG rubber gloves safe for acid
Aren't you supposed to heat good before you clean
Rather just buy a new one
Dry 🍦🍨
why does it still look rusty at the end?
👍👍👍👍
Grill brick and cheap lemon juice is what I use at work for the flat top. If they don't like scrubbing grab some packs of high temp griddle cleaner from a restaurant supply store.
Buy fryer boil off.. WEAR GLOVES..Mix a cup or 2 in a gallon of water… Turn griddle on and bring to full heat.. Turn off and pour the water over the top… scrape the top.. It will look like new.
Awesome!
Hey Guys here is the Best Hack for Rust, FOOD GRADE BLACK STRAP MOLASSES AND WATER. Yes, mix it about 10 to 1 and let it soak FULLY SUBMERGED, in 2 days bubbles will start forming,, 4 days rolling bubbles as it EATS THE RUST AWAY, In 5 days GREEN SCRUBBY SOAP AND WATER CLEAN UP . Non Toxic won't hurt you or the dog. NOW, it is so damn CLEAN IT WILL FLASH RE RUST LIKE IT WAS BLASTED , Use a Metal Etch or White Vinegar to Set it. Boom Done.
IS there some reason no one uses a grill brick on these?
sounds like the neighbor will keep you busy with content
