Ingredients:
Serves 4 pax

Marinated chicken
======
600g of chicken meat
1 tablespoon of Chinese white rice wine
1 tablespoon of light soy sauce
1 teaspoon of salt
A few dashes of white pepper
1 tablespoon of sesame oil
2 teaspoons of cornflour

Other ingredients:
======
10g of sliced ginger
1 piece of red onion
3 stalks of spring onion
180 of white radish (daikon) – cut into cubes
180g of carrots – cut into cubes
750ml of chicken stock
3 tablespoons of light soy sauce
A few dashes of white pepper
Some cornstarch solution
1 tablespoon of sesame oil

  2. add 600g bite size chicken meat
    add 1 tbsp Chinese rice wine
    add 1tbsp light soy sauce
    add 1 tsp salt
    add pepper
    add 1 tbsp sesame oil
    add 2 tsp corn flour
    leave in fridge to marinate for 1h

    heat up pan – med to low heat
    add oil evenly in pan
    add 10g sliced ginger
    once ginger browns, add chicken in
    spread and panfry chicken until fats r out for 1-2 min (don't stir)
    add 1 whole sliced onion
    add 3 stalks spring onion (white stem part), stir
    add 180g bite size daikon
    add 180g bite size carrot
    stir
    add chicken stock/water
    cook for 10min w lid on
    add 3 tbsp light soy sauce and pepper
    turn heat up to high to reduce sauce (8-10min)
    thicken w cornstarch solution , stirring while poring it in (until the consistency u like)
    add 1tbsp sesame oil
    turn off flame, add chopped spring onion, mix
