  2. I know you mentioned the festive brand ground turkey from Walmart. I’ve tried it and it’s fine but for the most part I get name brand better quality Jenny -0 or butterball ground turkey that’s way better quality and it costs the same or sometimes less . I get it usually from Vons / Albertsons/ Safeway whenever it comes on sale. I really really recommend getting a bunch and freezing them !

  3. Excellent dishes made with ground turkey. I use ground turkey instead of ground beef since I do not eat beef. All recipes are time friendly. Julia you are quite the inventive cook. I bet your family appreciates you. Keep up the wonderful work.

  4. Great meal ideas, thank you! Through my childhood and teen years, my mom almost exclusively used ground turkey instead of ground beef (because of a certain bovine health scare, among other reasons) so I'm well acquainted with it and actually prefer it in dishes like taco salad. I'll have to show my kids the video and let them pick some new meals to try!

  5. Thanks for more ideas.
To the stroganoff try adding cream cheese instead of the sour cream, I like using herb and garlic flavor. When I make turkey meatballs I serve them like turkey dinner with mash, squash, stuffing and gravy. I sometimes use stuffing mix in them. I also make a cranberry BBQ sauce for meatballs it's yum and gives a holiday feel anytime.

  6. I just started cooking with ground turkey myself. It’s funny when I was younger I didn’t like as much. It might be now that I’m older I am willing to change more to get my protein in Walmart has it for 1.98- 2.20 in some places my Walmart still has 1.98 but I have heard some have gone up. Also Aldi has ground turkey for 1.98 Ground Turkey doesn’t have as much protein as beef but it’s affordable and a nice change. Thank you Julia
