  1. I'm in the midst of cooking it right now.. I did take the risk of adding 2 teaspoons of brown sugar to the rub mix.. and the house smells AMAZING and full of flavor in the aroma! I can only imagine how amazing it's going to taste, I can't wait.

  2. Enjoyed the video and recipe. Details are very important. That is similar to the way my southern heritage would cook. Never thought of using apple juice. But why not, pork is often served with apple or grilled with applewood.

  3. OMG!!!!! I just made this today and can I say Delicious!!!!!!! This roast was so good that I don't think I'll ever make a Boston butt any other way. I sent my husband to get apple juice and I'm so glad I did. It really made the difference. The juice was soo good. Thank you for this recipe. Only thing I changed was Yukon gold potatoes and dry rosemary.

  4. OMG!!!! I just made this roast exactly like you did it. Yum!!!! It tastes so good. My family is going on and on about how good the carrots taste with the apple juice. The meat is falling off the bone…….YES!!!!!
