The key to oven baked chicken is to cook it at 400 F for 50 minutes, and make sure to pay the chicken skin dry. The boneless and skinless chicken thigh has a tasty spice rub on it and is cooked in the pan until crusty. 1. not me who has just sliced and diced my thighs to then come onto youtube to see if there is a best way to cook them – guy immediately starts off with full, untouched chicken thighs 🙄 well i'm fucked; let me just get the first aid kit and stitch these bad-boys back together..

  2. There are two terms: Guys and Gals.
But the word 'guys' has been adopted to include both genders.
Of the two terms, why has GUYS been adopted? Why not 'gals' ?

The answer is that there is a higher societal value to being male than there is to being female.

Why are males bothered when addressed as 'gals' but females are assumed not to be bothered when addressed as 'guys' ?
Why are women allowed to dress like men, but men cannot dress like women ?
Why can women adopt men's names but men can't adopt women's names?

There is a higher societal value to being male than there is to being female.
It's SEXISM in speech and writing.
    Drop "Guys".
    The word ''Folks'' is better.

  3. What about all the fat on the thighs? Do you leave it on and eat the fat? Can you tell I never had chicken thighs before? I grew up with a mother who was a terrific cook, and I learned from her. But, she NEVER cooked chicken thighs, so I never learned. I HAVE tried cooking it, but no matter what I do, there's so much fat on it! My dog likes it, but it takes me forever to get the fat off!

  4. My dad eats ONLY chicken breasts, he doesn't like or buy any other part of the chicken.
After weeks of mocking and begging he bought a bag of chicken thighs and said "this can be the first of many or first and last". I'm watching every single video to make it the better meal he ever had.

  5. That's dumb. You have a hot skillet that's hundreds of degrees! Your chicken at best is room temperature around 70 degrees hundreds of degrees cooler than the pan. If the pan is 400 degrees what does it matter if the chicken is 330 or 370 degrees cooler? You bring it to room temperature so the inside takes less time to reach 165 as the exterior hits closer to 200 or 220 degrees
