More videos like this, please! Wednesdays are our busy nights, so a couple years ago, I started making crock pot freezer meals, 7 at a time and doubling them for 14 meals. It lasts us a couple months, then I make another round. So convenient and easy! I'm always looking for more ideas to try!

GREAT ideas! I am going to be having knee replacement surgery, and I am going to do this and have them in the freezer! Then all I'll have to do is put it in the crock pot and there is dinner for us!

Dangit, I got rid of my slow cooker. I think it ran too hot, though.
I just gotta say, it is not recommended to cook from frozen in the slow cooker because the food spends longer at an unsafe temperature. Do I do it on occasion? Yes. But it's not good practice and makes it more likely you'll get sick.

I recently did three of Julia’s five dollar casseroles and they turned out soo good. Now I’m going to try these. I freeze a lot of cooked meals, I flatten the baggies so they will thaw quicker.

I freeze celery all the time. I wouldn't bother with frozen onions or carrots though. Lol. Each to their own.
I've committed to trying new things this year, and this video is helping one corner of my life. My crockpot doesn't see nearly the creativity I'm capable of.
