Wow what pantries do Y'all go to? Y'all get the good stuff
Game changer! I’m supporting myself thru college and I never know what to cook with the stuff
Interesting recipe, good production and audio is well-recorded. I like the idea of the pork, spicy and crispy and the rice with some veggies. Not so much the fruit sauce. I get the idea behind plum sauce used in mushu pork, how the sweetness balances the flavors. I would be afraid that pear would be too sweet.
Wondering if I can use the canned apricot juice instead of the pear… going to try… ps what did you end up using the pears for?
I know this is a super late comment, but that is way more than food pantries here give, and I'm a family of 4, soon to be 5. I wish food was more accessible for people who can't really afford it. But i also understand that it isn't always easy for pantries to come by either
Thank you so much for posting this!!!!
Thank you for making videos like this
I love that you are doing this. Years and years ago, during my internship, I worked with people to help them learn to use the groceries they were given. They weren't as blessed as today. The bags and boxes have some pretty good items in them now.
I don't care for mustard, sweet & sour. And a sissy on the spicy! However change that sauce to soy and green onion and YUMMY! 😋😋😋
You did that dish too!
Where this at ? I need some thin mints…
I got some of this a while back when I used the food pantry and wasn’t sure what I’d do with it. This recipe looks absolutely delicious, and I can’t wait to try it next weekend! Thanks!
Second time doing this but this time I omitted adding the fat to the rice and less Italian seasoning and it was so damn good. The hardest was the sauce. I feel like I couldn’t get it right but hey everything tastes amazing! Thank you!!!
Thanks for the idea, I have do have 2 can of pork. Got to try it.
Thank you for sharing the video! This is genuinely easy to make and I can try cooking it myself with some confidence!
Just made a version of this, pretty good. The flavors mix well. Thank you!
Awesome inflation video
This is exactly all I had in my pantry this week 🥹thank you so much
pork meat is gross
Please see Revelation 14:12 & 18:23, Please dont take the PCR test is alarming what peoiple have shown
Yeah I ended up with two cans of pork from a food box and I've been wondering what to do with it
Watched a couple videos yours was the best 👍🏾👌🏾
I got literally the exact same can of pork from the school the other day. I was wondering wtf am I gonna do with this? Tacos maybe? Pulled pork sandwiches? Nope I'm gonna make this cause for once I actually have all the ingredients. Plus I get to use up my leftover white rice in the fridge from when we ordered Chinese food takeout the other day. They always give a bunch of white rice (even when I tell them no ty) and noone ever eats it. Once in a while I end up making something with it but most of the time it sits in the fridge until I toss it.
Don't know where you are but in Northern California you don't get that much in a box, but for a family of 6 I get 3 boxes.
OMG I got a food pantry box because I lost my job and we are a family of 3. I have 2 of those cans of Pork and was wondering what to do with it. I have all those ingredients. Thank you so much.
whenever I get canned pork or beef like this my fav thing to do is just toss it into a pot an boil it in its own juices till its rendered down, smashing it around a lil with a spoon, then adding brown sugar BBQ , worshire sauce, and honey, an simmer it for like, an hour an a half on low heat, already cooked this makes it so tender, plus the fat already in the can makes it nice an greasy which is how I feel a pulled pork sandwich outta be, it ain't real pulled pork unless grease drips down your arms tryna hold it XD
I don't know where you went to a food pantry but in my area, I get about half of what you showed and that's for a family of 5 adults. Thanks for the recipe!!
Thank you…I've been staring at this can of pork with no clue…
I fucking love this video.
This is my first time to this channel.
Thank you I just made it from my local food pantry ❤️
Awesomeness!!!!!
Also, the recipe and the food ( maybe not the GSC— but so what! LOL) from the pantry seemed to be nutritious. I liked how you rinsed the pork to reduce the fat and I think it would also reduce the sodium which is a good idea for people at risk for heart disease and high blood pressure! Thanks again
You did a great job with this recipe. I might try to make it myself.
looks good
What a great idea for a video!
thank you so much for this recipe i was scared to even open the can it looks good so i will be making this recipes for my first try thank so much for you time and hard work.
Another hit! So glad to see you do another one of these videos.
I love this video so much! Thank you for sharing this type of video. I usually see the $2 per serving type video which are great but this seems more realistic.
