You may never eat store bought bread after making this.
2 ¼ Cups warm water.
4 ½ tsp (2 packets) Active Dry yeast.
¼ Cup white sugar.
1 TBSP salt.
¼ Cup Vegetable oil, ( & extra for oiling)
6 ¼ Cups all purpose flour ( I use organic unbleached all purpose flour)
How To:
1.Whisk warm water, yeast & sugar together.
Stir in salt & Vegetable oil. Mix one cup of flour at a time into mixture until dough is s sticky but pulls easily from surface. Knead for 7 minutes or until dough comes off your hands easily without sticking. You can also use dough machine .
2. Roll dough into a ball, place in an oiled bowl & cover with towel for one hour.
Place dough on floured surface, knead for one minute and divide if you are using regular size pans. My pan is 13.385 *5.3 *4.72 inch & this dough is enough for that and a smaller pan as well. Shape the divided dough and place into lightly oiled pans
3. Cover pans and let rise for another 1 HR. Move oven rack to low setting and preheat oven to 375°F.
4. Bake on the low rack for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
5. Remove from oven and cool before slicing. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for a few days or freeze for longer storage.
