  1. What i love more about aunty shanti cooking is that her ingredients are easy to find and fresh…sometimes u watch other channel n they use sooo much manufactured ingredients is so hard to find or u dont know about …

  2. Cross contamination is a major avenue for food pathogens like Salmonella, Staphylococcus Aureus and Shigella that cause foodborne illnesses.
    1. Shanty dipped her hands in the salt container with the same gloves that she used to season the chicken. Salmonella is a food pathogen that is associated with poultry products like chicken.

    2. She used the same spoon to dip in the crushed garlic, green seasoning and sugar. If a food pathogen/s were present then everything that was used would've been contaminated. (Why is her sugar in a black plastic bag though?) I'm genuinely curious.

    3. Her food handling practices need improvement because there is sufficient room for food pathogens to be present in her food which makes it unfit for consumption.

  3. Also when you wear gloves like this, you protect your hands, yes. However she touched the raw chicken and then touched every single container afterwards. This is cross contamination and exactly how salmonella spreads people.
