  1. I just made this again, and I realized something. It actually taste just like my second favorite BBQ spot I go to at home in Memphis. The only difference is I usually get the hot version where it seems like they add more black pepper to it. There are a few places here that have a very similar sauce. I could just look at the ingredient list and tell it was probably mostly right. Just the look and taste of the sauce from most places, you know they have ketchup, mustard, and vinegar in them.

Now I'm working on tweaking this recipe one ingredient at a time to make it more like my favorite place in Memphis for pulled pork sandwiches. I'll start off with maybe a little less ketchup. Then maybe reducing the brown sugar and/or the molasses. There are some places in Memphis I like that have a sauce somewhat similar to a western NC sauce, but not as tangy. I might also experiment with making it a couple days ahead of when I want to use it.

But with them fat and happy it was much easier beating them at cards. THANKS AGAIN OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
