Fellers , great recipe & I am going to add some thin sliced hard salami to mine also, for folks that do not want to make their own marinara sauce or are in a hurry , I have found Prego or Rao's brand & both are in a jar & they are real good , their pizza sauce will work if you cannot find their marinara at your grocer

I just cried inside when I watched a gigantic thing of acidic tomato sauce get poured into that cast iron pan. Long term cooking of tomato sauce(more than 15 or so minutes) can start to eat away at your precious seasoning.
