Is this the same as lamb breast? I tried it on my pit barrel it flamed up 15min in due to the fat.

I’m in England and lamb is a staple. It’s at its best on the bbq. Nice to see Americans understanding what they are missing out on. For me, salt, pepper, garlic and rosemary on lamb is all it takes

I was surprised to hear you describe lamb as "gamey". Mutton yes, but not lamb.
Brine lamb to mellow the flavour impart other flavours and shortens cooking time on the BBQ while staying tender. Lamb loves rosemary garlic and mint. You welcome.
Did lamb ribs 2 days ago, I was saying the same thing – why the hell dont people cook more lamb. just did salt pepper garlic paprika onion and a little dry mustard.
I find smoking with bark on the wood its a little bitter😮
