  1. I hadn't tasted chicken Divan (mom made something like this but never called it that) before about 20 years ago. I came across this somewhere (thought it was on a show) and it said Paula Deen's recipe. I got the recipe, made it, and just fell in love. I have truly never tasted something so good…. I have made this now since coming across it that 20-25 years ago. My kids loved it (when they were all home)…Now my husband and i love it…
Paula Deen's is the only one I'll make… I've seen others make it but leave things out and i know what it taste like the way Ms. Deen makes it so I do it her way…This is my absolute favorite…. I do add a little Mrs. Dash (the green ) in the sauce….Oh My… I've had people rave over this when I made it… I always say, "This is Paula Deen's recipe, so you know it's good."

  2. I watched this with a devoted chicken divan fan and she's been eating this dish for almost 30 years and said this looks COMPLETELY DISGUSTING! You made it look like a lasagna from hell, you are also at the same time, any future and established cooks doubt themselves on whether or not they have even clicked this video in the first place! for shame, Paula!

  3. Favorite since childhood- I use a couple tablespoons of curry in mine, and yes- it just adds a wonderful layer of flavor, (not even necessarily identifiable as curry, that's the weird part). That and the lemon are a must in my book- oh and the buttered breadcrumbs! I've made it the same way for years but I'd like to try some different cheeses and play with it a bit. Can't really go wrong….

  4. Not a fan of hot curry dishes, but when I first made your Chicken Divan it was like a whole different element…I make regular chicken salad…n add the curry at the end…holy moly…just a tsp gives it that extra zip

  5. I remember your first cooking show ..Lord I can't remember if that was late 90s or early 2000s…but that chicken divan recipe called for cooking Sherry…my box o recipes are in storage…was it a tsp or tbsp.. thankyou.
