In this review we will talk about all the features of the blaze 4 burner LTE Gas grill. This grill can be ordered as a cart model that is free standing and portable, or as a built in gas grill as well. Whats also nice is you can get this grill in natural gas or propane. The whole cart and the outside of the grill itself is constructed of 304 stainless steel. The inside of the grill is 443. The advantage of this is the inside of the grill is built with titanium metal which helps contribute to the rigidity of the grill especially in high heat settings. the LTE grill features, exterior and interior lighting. Heavy duty stainless steel searing grates, and great flavorizer bars which help eliminate grease flare ups. I would say this is one does one of the better jobs of elimiating flare ups in a gas grills. This is one of my favorite gas grills on the market!

  1. I am in the market for new grill. I've watched a couple of your reviews. Though I appreciate the feature walkthroughs, I'm looking for grill reviews from an actual use perspective. The manufacturer's tend to already provide feature reviews. The mention of the rotisseries being too low – did the manufacturer design this with the intention of removing the grids? Can I put the protein to one side of the spit and keep a grid on the other side? How does the grill perform from a flare-up perspective, temp control, even heat distribution, cold spots, etc. Practical use reviews are really, really helpful when making a decision to purchase. I'm getting more from some the consumer comments on your YouTube videos than from the video themself. Again, thanks for what you do but for purchasing decisions, there could be more to these videos that help with those decisions.

  2. Not impressed with this grill. I've owned it for a year, and found the heat distribution very uneven. There is very little heat at the center of the flame tamers. Also, the grill flares up A LOT. If you plan on cooking anything but lean cuts of meats (i.e. burgers and brats), be prepared to babysit your cook, and have a water bottle nearby. The top shelf is basically useless, as it is only 3-4 inches deep, and impeded by the round top. My other dislike is the GODAWFUL cart that is an option for this grill. It is overpriced, and poorly thought out. Sharp edges everywhere. Extremely poor castors, and terrible castor placement. They are too small in diameter, and are recessed several inches under the cart. Unless you crawl on your hands and knees, you will not be locking them. The castors only roll well on very smooth surfaces. Even transitioning on a concrete sidewalk with troweled relief joints is a challenge. The grill/cart weigh about 300 lbs, and it feels unstable moving it. Also, the cart has absolutely no handles on it whatsoever, and the flimsy side shelves (held on with sheet metal screws) and not fold-able. The doors are hard to open, and there are no shelves or drawers inside. Just a big open cabinet with lots of holes in the bottom for things to fall through (or animals to crawl in).

On the plus side, the optional infrared burner works very well for searing steaks, and the overall quality of the grill feels solid. The cooking grates are very heavy duty and retain a lot of heat for searing. Fix the flame tamer and/or burner design, redesign everything about the cart, and I think you have a winner.

  3. Thanks for the good review. I just purchased this grill online and after seeing your video wish I had ordered from you just to thank you for the great video…balanced, honest. Keep reading about the "hot" factor but not sure why you couldn't just use some indirect heat for slow cooking and if you're dropping something ultra heat sensitive right over the burner, pretend it's a piece of food on the ground and implement the 5 second rule. =)

  4. Thanks for this review! Really well made. We got this grill last summer and we have some struggles with it. It is indeed a very hot grill as other mentioned. One can adjust the flow down a bit (there are hidden screws behind the gas knobs), but not much. The major problem we have, however, is that we find it to flare/flame quite a bit. Way more than our portable Weber 2000 grill for sure. It does decent with meat, but we have never had luck with fish and vegetables – they just get too charred. Our experience is that grease actually tends to stay on the perforated metal deflectors. It produces plenty of grease fire.

Is there anything you can suggest we could try to reduce this grease fire? For instance, we were wondering if it is a good idea to just remove the deflectors, but then the grease will drip on the burners themselves and that does not sound like a great idea.

  5. This is my second season with the 4 burner LTE built in. Love the grill but it is a very hot grill. You've got to change you grilling thinking. For the price, it's one of the better quality grills. Previously had a Napoleon, but wasn't a fan of their burners.

  6. Great overview, thank you! Could you please tell if this grill allow long cooking at slow temperature (something about 230-240F)? I am sure these unique burners work great at high temperature, I would like to make sure I can use it as a kind of smoker as well before I buy it.

  7. I just purchased this grill (still in the box at this moment) and I was actually looking for an assembly video when I stumbled onto your channel. I am surprised that you do not go over "available" features, as that is one of the things that sold us on this grill. I opted for one side to be infrared…that was not an option with others that I was looking at. We also purchased the smoker/marinade box option, once again that was not available on other models that we were selecting from. We agree that it would have been nice to include the rotisserie kit seeing as how the burner was there. I do enjoy your reviews and you stay neutral in your comparisons and clearly state your "choices" as your opinion. Nicely done.
