I'm from New York and lived there until I was about 24 but since then I have lived in Arizona and I love Arizona and the food is amazing. I laugh at people now back east because it seems that the way they flavor food is with salt, pepper and ketchup and I used to be like that. Now, it's all about the spice and flavor man and I don't touch salt pepper or ketchup anymore, those ingredients should be banned. Having said that I will take a Sonoran Dog over a NY Sabrett, Chicago Vienna Beef or any other dog you wanna throw at me any day of the week!
Omg. These are worth it. Also nice fried chiles with bacon.
Thanks to visiting my hometown Bryan!!!
As a kid visiting my family I would see these hot dogs outside The University of Sonora in Hermosiilo and I would think, What are they doing to these hot dogs? It doesnt seem right. Then I tasted them!
This episode is coming just in time for visitors coming in to ride El Tour. Looking forward to sampling a few.
I like BK taco the most while in Tucson. However their other menu items stand out more than the dog, and that's why I like their dog more. I also recommend that you try a Cheese Crisp if in town.
Come to NC to try The Pig in chapel hill!!!
Wow, never had heard of Sonoran hot dogs, but man they all looked good. More of Bryan's "on the road" series please!
Yay Sonoran Hot Dogs! Must have salsa with it.
Ruiz Chipilones is absolutely delicious. Glad to see it featured.
John is a great guy and was actually named a James Beard Award semifinalist for his restaurant Tito & Pep. If you are ever in Tucson, it's fantastic.
People always say there will never be another great Herbalist like the old, which i disagree with because I found a herbalist on YouTube called Dr Aluda that is special and genuine, this herbalist cured my Herpes virus. what we don't know is really bigger than us. he cures HPV too.
Those look amazing
Tucson,…si'.
I looked them up and we have a "Sonoran hot dog" place here in Austin. I'll try it.
I love those hotdogs!
I’m happy Ruiz was included, that’s been a personal favorite of my friends and I for years.
I love Sonoran hotdogs. Miss Tucson.
If this had dropped on April 1st, I'm not sure I would have believed.
But they all look amazing.
This is new to me and so far, I like its direction.
BUT, I've never had a Sonora Dog. They are not made by anyone around here so I'm looking for his recipe take on all the dogs he tried.
El Guero Canelo might have the best Sonora Dogs ever
Love watching Bryan. Informative and entertaining.
Fun fact: Tucson was the first of only 2 UNESCO food award cities in America.
I spent 30+ years in Tucson. The food scene (and music scene) has always been over the top for a city it's size. But the Border food and music (see The Molly's or The Carnivaleros) always led the way. Spent many (many) a lunch time at El Guero Canelo. One Caramelo and two dogs. I was younger then! Good times and great food!
Oh be still my heart, I just love when Bryan goes on a road trip and we get to watch him eat and cook!!! I do hope these segments will be ongoing!
You guys missed the best dogs in town super hotdogs obregon!! Way better than the ones in the video
I 100% stop there on my annual road trip.
Older, female Hoosier here! 👋
Never heard of those. Look & sound fantastic!
Any suggestions for what hot dog 🌭
bun to purchase?
I could be wrong, but,
I have never seen those type buns.
Those have made me so very hungry now! 😃
Wow! You went to my three favorite places! Aquí Con El Nene, El Güero Canelo and El Sinaloense!😮 You could make this anywhere with the possible exception of the buns which are usually cloud-soft with a slight sweetness. I can’t imagine eating these on grocery store hotdog buns ever!
Poetic friend 01
Tucsonan here ….. Thanks for showing the Sonoran dog the love it deserves!
My mouth is watering, guys!!! Cook’s Country needs to develop a recipe for these!
We had the dogs at the last place you reviewed…came highly recommended and, oh boy, it was everything people said and more! Loved it!
Everything looked so good, great video!
So when is ATK going to do their version of this hot dog 🌭?
I would be really interested in seeing that!
And making it too!
I love, love, love Bryan's travel stops and hope he keeps on doing these.
