In this video I teach the basics of using a charcoal grill. I’m using a standard Weber 22 inch kettle grill, which in my opinion sets the standard for all other kettle grills. I cover everything from setting the grill up, to choosing your charcoal, to which accessories and utensils you will need. I will link to the grill and accessories below.

Thanks! My dad never taught me this stuff because he worked nights while I was growing up so I appreciate it!
I don’t have a charcoal chimney – is there an alternative around this?
Very well made. My mom said thank you!
Never grilled before in my life, but going to try. after you are done cooking, how do you clean up. How long to cool down, how to remove coals, etc. No one ever shows that part. Help!
Can I use the small portable Weber unit in an apartment , with the kitchen window open ? Or are these types strictly for outdoors
National charcoal better flavor
Really informative and solid video! Hate to ask a stupid question but what do you do when you’re done cooking, do you just let the charcoal run it’s course? I’m used to propane and just turning it off, but I’d hate to just walk away from a fire and risk burning my house down
thanks man very helpful i grew up without a dad so thank you for making this
This is all you need to know about setting up a grill in one no nonsense video. Especially the part about keeping your coals to one side to give yourself space to move your meat when it's almost done.
Great presentation…. 😀
Thanks for this video. I just bought my first ever mini portable charcoal grill bbq and when I say "mini", it's 36 cm in diameter. It was half price at the local BBQ store $25AUD. I HAD to have it.cheers

After seeing him and hearing his voice…
I believe anything he tells me about meat.
You’re a stud bud.
I love 2 soak my charcoal in a 5 gal.bucket with fuel for 10min..it burns like jet fuel
Thanks for the help, mate. I was gifted one of these grills and wasn't sure how to use it.
I’m a college student and we have grills outside our dorm I’ve seen some guys doing a BBQ before and I wanted to do it too but me and my friends didn’t even know we needed to buy charcoal lol 😂😂
