I know time pushes people to have to cook on high but I always go with low. Stay up later than normal or get up early and put that baby on for the 8-10 hours, never a disappointment.
You could also go without the paper

Definitely no intention of giving hate or negativity in any way whatsoever, I understand some people don’t have time or can’t be bothered to do the searing or the like, however, I can’t cook ANY meat without seasoning it. When I cook, I am all about the flavours! Just a little basic salt and pepper can go a long way. Just my thoughts though.💁🏼♂️

Use chicken or beef broth instead of water, even more flavor. But I also agree, brown the roast first with black pepper and garlic powder.
