  1. Great overview. Glad I'm a subscriber. Your videos a a great source for recipes as well as keeping up with various brands & models of pellet grills. I've been looking for a new smoker and mostly decided that I want to upgrade from and old (non-PID) Camp Chef Smoke Pro 24 to a Woodwind Pro 36. I'm most interested in the smoke flavor it produces, but also influenced by various features like ash clean out. This review impressed me enough to wonder if I should consider changing brands from Camp Chef to Traeger, but I didn't find any of their models that have a wat to add wood chunks to increase the smoke flavor and bark, particularly on briskets. Does Traeger have any kind of similar feature to add wood chunks? Thanks and please keep up the great work!

  2. Great video! Will you do a comparison between the Traeger Woodfire XL and the Camp Chef Woodwind Pro? I'm leaning toward CF but you're making Traeger sound slightly better in some areas.
    Thanks! Liked and Sub'd!

  3. I ordered the woodridge pro today. Very good video. I have a pit boss right now and looking to upgrade. Do you recommend wrapping a brisket in butcher paper, or foil or a tin pan with beef broth when you smoke on a pellet grill

  4. I appreciate you spending the time to keep Us informed on new products. My question for you is do you recommend the Ironwood 885 over the Woodridge Pro version. I live in Maine and use my pellet grill all year. The Ironwood XL is too large for me. I would appreciate your opinion.

  5. Did you look at Yoder or Lone Star Grillz. They are made in the USA and pretty much pre-assembled. And since you are one of those people who are very concerned about the environment… think about what China did to our environment to make and transport that Traeger grill to the USA.
