Basmati rice β 2 cups (400 g, soaked 30β45 mins)
Potatoes β Β½ kg (cut into medium pieces)
Oil β Β½ cup (125 ml)
Onion β 1 large (sliced, for frying)
Cumin seeds β 1 tsp
Bay leaves β 2
Ginger-garlic paste β 1 tbsp
Green chili paste β 1 tbsp
Tomato β 1 large (chopped)
Curd (yogurt) β ΒΌ cup
Salt β as needed
Garam masala powder β Β½ tsp
Kewra water β 1 tsp
Lemon juice β 2 tsp
Green chilies β 3β4 (slit)
Desi ghee β 1β2 tbsp
