最初に揃えたときはバーナーも まな板もグリルも1ユニットサイズで、 テーブルに3つをセットすると 満タンになっていました。 しかしそれだとフラットな部分は かろうじてまな板のみとなってしまい、 テーブルとしては狭くて 使いづらくなっていました。 そこで全てを0.5ユニットにして テーブル部分を増やそうと バーナは買い、まな板は 真っ二つに切断して達成しました。 しかしグリルだけは半分に 切るわけにもいかず、 製品も発売されておらず、 諦めかけていましたが このほどついに発見いたしました。 SEIDOというメーカーの 「IGTハーフグリル」です。 厚めのステンレス製で、ロストルと テフロン加工が施された スリット入り焼き鉄板も付属。 ゆとりのある袋も付いて、 お値段私にしては高価な8,800円(税送込)。 豆炭がピッタリと書いてあったので 言われるがままに「お豆たん」を購入。 早速魚とたらこを焼いてみました。 以前使ったダイソーの豆炭は ライターで着火できましたが、 お豆たんは着火剤をまぶしてないようで、 バーナーで火を点けました。 しかし一度火が廻れば 火力はとても安定していて長持ちで 今後のBBQは全部これでいいじゃん と思える使い勝手でした。 IGTハーフグリルとの相性は 豆炭使いを前提に 作られたんじゃないかと 思うくらいバッチリで テーブルも広く使えて大満足。 テフロン加工のおかげで 鉄板洗いもラクラクでした。 そして夜、今度はスペアリブです。 今度はファイヤーライターズで着火します。 やはり炭火で焼く肉は最高ですね。 木炭で肉を焼くとどうしても 火が高く上がって 直火で炭化する部分ができますが、 豆炭ではそれはなく、 とてもおいしく焼けるおかげで 酒がグングンすすみました(笑) 本当に買って正解。 脚付で単独使いもできるので、 今後炭焼きは全てこのグリルと 豆炭を使うことになりそうです。…
