How do I make chicken skin crispy when baking/roasting it?
I am quite attracted to this woman.
Yes….. You wash meat by putting it in boiling water for 5-10 seconds…. Move the meat to new plate… and dump out the water…!
BRAVO. Possibly, he best culinary instruction available — and the best teacher.
I purchased a bag of coffee today and would appreciate tips on how to open it cleanly without damaging the packaging. 🤦♀️
Lan is the best!
Nicely sone, Ms. Lam. I like how you delve into the chemical aspects of cooking.
Such great answers, really appreciate this kind of technical info!
Ms. Lan is my all-time favorite. Super smart.
A FAQ on pastry would be good.
10 pound bag of leg and thigh quarters for $10. Great value.
great q&a !
She loves using candy for demos!
5:21 2 lb of scrap? Hold on to that; every part of the chicken, including internal organs, can be cooked or used in some way. They are treasure!
Love love LAN!!!
I was on the fence with Lan Lam when she started, but I have now come to the light. More Lam please!
What would I like to see? Simple rice cooker recipes maybe?
This is why ATK is the best!!!
absolutely demented decision to leave all the background noises in
Please do a how to and why and when use of garlic (sliced/chopped/smashed/powder/paste). Another good one would be onions (red/yellow/white/scallions) and how/why they are used in different cuisines, including diffs in chopping/slicing/dicing. Lan is a great teacher, and thanks to ATK support team! 💐
I tried to post a more correct and complete explanation of the difference between stock and broth, but my comment was blocked. I'd like to know why.
How about turkey… do you prepare them the same way as chicken?
The background movement is nice, but the high pitched clattering is distracting
How about a video on how to cook inexpensive cuts of beef to make them less chewy or tough. It's a waste of money to buy a cut of beef and then have it not worth eating.
I love the steamer tip for reheating chicken. Thanks!
