  1. I’ve been such a fan of the Legend Anthony Bourdain for so long… and I’ve never got around to trying his favorite sandwich… so today is the day!

    You’ll need:
    Kaiser roll seeded or not, I use seeded
    Italian thinly sliced Mortadella, like paper thin!
    Provolone cheese
    Mayo – I used @hellmannsmayonnaise
    Whole grain mustard

    This sandwich is easy and incredible!

    Just start by getting a nonstick pan over medium low to medium heat, and place in your piles of mortadella. I recommend 3-4 slices per pile!

    While that cooks down and the fat starts to render, mix together 3 parts mayo to 1 part whole grain mustard to make the susce.

    Also slice your Kaiser roll in half! I got to test out my new @messermeister Bread Knife from their Blacksmith collection and this thing is money!!!

    Once the mortadella is browned, usually 4 mins or so, flip and top 3 of the piles with provolone cheese. Cover for a few seconds and let it melt!

    Once the cheese is melted, stack up the piles and move them off the pan so we can toast the roll! I use the mortadella fat in the pan along with some butter for this.

    Then you can put it all together as shown in the video and enjoy!!
