I made this about a week ago and just cracked opened the first jar. While the drink itself turned out good, the apple slices ended up tasting pretty bad. Anyone else have this experience?

I made a batch this weekend and right out of the pot, it is the best mixed drink I have ever tasted. Very balanced flavors and it gets a nice buzz going. Like drinking delicious apple pie. I’m sure the jars with the apple slices will be even better.

I knew someone who lives in the woods 20 years ago that made apple pie shine it was delicious. Now you have to go out of state to get the 190 proof

Just made some for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. 2 jars and a pitcher for now and 8 jars to ferment. Had to use Everclear though but still so good my Lady officially made it a Thanksgiving tradition! Thanks!
