  1. One purpose gadgets and appliances don't attract me very much. For years I've used jars mayo, jam, etc.) to make salad dressing. But they can also be used to share soup or something else i've cooked with a friend or family member and nobody has to return anything. It just makes sense.

  2. So you use ball jars at least partially because you don't put plastic in the dishwasher. Then you use plastic lids instead of the default metal tops. I'd rather use the two-piece and put them in the dishwasher than hand wash plastic lids. Am I missing something?

  3. I have not one, but two of these salad dressing shakers, I wish I had found them twenty years ago. They are everything I want, and nothing I don't. There are a lot of things in the kitchen we may not necessarily need, but that still make our lives in the kitchen a hell of a lot easier. This salad dressing bottle is definitely one of mine. And really, we should be making our own salad dressings as much as possible. It's easy, and it's better.
