My wife got her Ank about 3 weeks ago after our 32 year old Kitchen Aid was really struggling while making bread. Wow, what a difference with the Ank. Highly recommended. We also own the Vitamix A2500 blender and the Cusinart 14 cup food processor…all ATK recommended. We are done for life. Buy great and buy once! Cheers!
@America’s Test Kitchen So, since you've made one or another bad comment about each of the products reviewed in this video. I would like to know from u if there is a perfect product and what would this product be? The impression is that perhaps u are gaining something behind to comment on anything bad about these products.
Fantastic video! Interesting topic, great implementation. Thank you for the inspiration
Have had the same Vitamix for 15 years. It's flawless!
YOU FORGOT TO TELL EVERYONE THAT THE VITAMIX IS THE "ONLY" BLENDER RHAY MAKES HOT COOKED SOUP FROM SCRATCH…WITH NO EFFORT!!
ONLY BLENDER I. THE WORKD THAT DOES THAT
this video has an edit beginning that you cannot skip. Don't know how many are in the body of the video but one is enough. This gets a this like video from me. 0:07
Disappointed to not see you review Bosch in the mixers. After 25 years of Kitchen aid my Bosch is by FAR the best.
I have a 19 year old Bosch universal kitchen machine that I bought when the KitchenAid was totally not up to kneading stiff whole wheat dough. Good to know there's another option after it dies
I think that "2,500 wattage range" comment on blenders needs to be verified. That would be over 20-amps which 99% of the outlets in the US could not support.
I really like my Ankasarum.
Would love to see ATK give instructions on how to use the Ankarsrum mixer in some of their most popular baking recipes! I just got one and the learning curve is no joke, but don’t regret it one bit!
Thermomix have to pay a yearly subscription to get recipes and can't customize to make your own recipes. Tokit is a better option. No subscription and and customize.
Ankarsrum is worth every penny.
Now the thermomix have these attachments and can chop very well ; )
where's that ooni volt review?
Bought a used Ankarsrum just for dough. It was missing the extra whisking attachment. great for making pretzal and bagel dough. I can telll you it will never break. They are belt drive so you dont have to worry about the gears breaking. I also own a kitchenaid 4.5 qt that was built when Hobart owned them. They had metal gears back then and were more of a commercial machine.
Great reviews, thank you!
Ankarsrum supposedly makes the drivetrain and motor for all the Vitamix Blenders. So that mixer should last.
Cocktail makers are all subpar. It also goes against a lot of the "point" of making cocktails at home. It is not only about the results but the experience. Prepping the freshly pressed fruit juice, creating syrups, slicing and folding garnishes and measuring and mixing all these liquids with ice in front of friends and family is just so much better, than having these ugly machines make a product that even a novice could top on their first try.
Save, I use my pizza stone
I wonder if Ankarsrum warms doughs such as the brioche as it has its motor at the bottom.
my mom got a Ankarsrum as a parting gift when she moved away from home in the early 80's. she still got the machine and it runs just as well as it did 40 years ago!
I had the best ever return/repair experience with Breville. Even outside of the warranty window, it was great and simple. Definitely will buy from them knowing it's easy to repair instead of replace.
After my 28 year old Kitchenaid broke, I received the Ankarsrum for Christmas. There is a learning curve, but I really like this mixer. It feels stronger, has a great warranty, and performed very well with sourdough bread, cookies, and cakes.
