  1. great q & a session. I totally agree with Lawman Johnson on bolognese sauce as lazy/comfort food. I make a huge batch (as much as can fit in my largest enameled cast iron pot), and sure it takes a few hours of prep/initial cooking, but then it's just simmering for 5+ hours and you're done. It freezes really well and then you can heat it up relatively quickly when you want something tasty and satisfying. I have a few containers in my freezer right now 🙂

  2. Hey Elle,I've been watching you on ATK for a few years. You look great in your new body. Like a glamourous fashion model but not too thin, so keep it up. In your past you looked just like my best friend who is also beautiful even in a larger size.

  3. My gosh! I just love 💘 ❤ 💕 this man. He's adorable! I love Elle too. I would love to see more of these sessions. I live in the South but my cooking style is far from it. I love cooking from different culture backgrounds and trying things I didn't grow up on. Please keep these videos coming so we can learn more about Lawman and his cooking techniques, as well as Elle.

  4. I would love for them to test a really good collard green and black eye pea recipe!!!!
Also maybe succotash/southern style fried fish. So many heritage dishes to try out!
Edit: southern style with smoked meat etc.

  5. Hey Elle and welcome Lawman!! Great Q & A guys. Elle I agree about the okra. I've never had them fried and in my gumbo I only like them cut up very small so they cook away into flavor town lol. Lawman I didn't like avocados either when I was younger. I only eat them in guacamole and never sliced. I love guac on my tacos, burritos and of course chips.

  6. How about making Brunswick Stew with just a bit of thin okra stars in it?
Bridget's Brunswick Stew recipe is awful. It's got boneless chicken breasts in it. Yuck! It's supposed to be made with barbecue ends.
