1 cup = 250ml

Ingredients:
Beef / Mutton – 500g (I used beef)
Potato – 1 (Finely chopped)
Onion – 1 big (Finely chopped)
Ginger – 1 big piece (Crushed)
Garlic – 8 fat cloves (Crushed)
Green chilly (Slit open)
Curry leaves
Tomato – 1 (Chopped)
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – 1½ tbsp
Red chilly powder – As per taste
Pepper powder – ¾ tbsp
Garam masala – ¾ tbsp
Curry leaves
Dry red chilly – 3
Salt
Oil

Steps:
Mince the beef in batches by pulsing in the mixie jar for a couple of times.

Heat oil in a pan.
Add dry red chilly.
Add onion, ginger, garlic, green chilly and curry leaves.
When the onion becomes soft, lower the flame and add turmeric powder. Sauté till the raw smell goes away.
Add coriander powder and sauté till the raw smell goes away.
Add red chilly powder and sauté till the raw smell goes away.
Add pepper powder.
Add tomato and salt.
Cover and cook on medium flame till the tomatoes are done.
Add potato, keema, garam masala and salt.
Mix well.
Sprinkle some water.
Cover and cook on medium flame.
Keema will release moisture when it becomes hot.
Cover and cook.
Once it becomes dry, switch off.
Enjoy the beef keema with chapathi or rice.
