Today we’re making the Tik Tok Baked Feta Pasta. I wanted to see just how good this recipe is. This dish started in Finland and it’s allegedly the reason grocery stores in Finland ran out of feta cheese.
Ingredients:
1) 2 pints (~900g) cherry tomatoes
2) 6 tbsp olive oil
3) 8-10 cloves garlic
4) 1/2 tbsp black pepper, 1/2 tbsp salt, 1/2 tbsp oregano
5) 8oz (~227g) feta cheese)
6) ~150g pasta
7) (optional) 1/2 tbsp chilli flakes, basil, parsley
Instructions:
1) Preheat oven 400F (204C)
2) Place cherry tomatoes and chopped garlic in a baking tray
3) Add olive oil, black peper, salt, oregano, (optional chili flakes) and mix
4) Add Feta cheese in the center and add a little more olive oil and seasoning on top
5) Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, then broil for 5 minutes for a total of 30 minutes in the oven
6) While cheese/tomato is in the oven cook your pasta.
7) Take baking tray out of the oven and mash tomato and feta cheese
8) Mix in your pasta. (optional: add some fresh herbs before serving)

I don't know alot about cooking but wow 8 garlics!!? Doesn't the whole taste change to just garlic?
I like this recipe and I really don't want to be rude or anything… but pace of the video is to slow. Im thinking we don't need to see each individual chop of garlic or how you open the packages…

When I bake mine, I add the sweetest tomatoes I can find, olive oil, ricotta cheese, oregano, basil, chives, chia seeds, reconstituted lemon juice, salt, black pepper, sometimes powdered garlic and I always use WHOLE WHEAT pasta.
Been given a massive bag of Vegan Greek crumble scheese lol so looking for recipe ideas , this looks yummy , so will try this right now , thank you 🌻

So I've cooked this recipe so many times, and it's always turned out amazing!! But after a while, I was getting intolerant to the Feta 🙁 I'm not completely Lacto-Free, so I can eat some dairy but Feta was making me a bit ill. I then discovered Dairy-free boursin cheese. I do everything the same, just the different cheese and oh my word, I was blown away to how good it was 🙂 So I thought i'd post for any of those who have a dairy free diet that you can use alternative cheese. I might have to try to Violife Vegan feta cheese and see how that turns out.

This looks delicious. However, adding more salt to feta cheese, which is already salty enough, may not be the healthiest option. Having added salt to the cherry tomatoes and having boiled the pasta in salty water should be enough. In Greece, we sometimes refrain from adding salt to the classic Greek salad if the feta cheese is quite salty.
I am Greek and never thought to cook feta cheese this way.
I have all the ingredients and will definitely try it.

Please use ceramic/glass cookware from stove top to ovenware, and grow your own heirloom tomatoes, as for cheese, eeehhh if you can help it- you know what to do there! Thanks, simple recipe to help millions……
