Ingredients:
All purpose flour or maida – 1½cup (200g)
Banana – 2 or 3
Egg – 2
Melted Butter – ⅓cup (75g)
Brown sugar – ¼cup (50g)
Sugar – ½cup (100g)
Milk – ½cup (120ml)
Baking powder – 1tsp (4g)
Baking soda – 1tsp (5g)
Cinnamon powder – ¼tsp
Vanilla essence – 1tsp (5ml)
Salt – ¼tsp
Pan size – 24 x 10.5 x 7 cm

The melted butter is it salted ?

I dint get that brown color 😔 it was normal like spong vanilla cake
Something is not right. Ingredients and volume posted in video does not give me the same consistency nor the quantity as shown in video. I get much thicker mix and much more in quantity.

I just made this and almost finished the whole thing! I love how moist and spongy it is on the inside and chewy/crusty on the outside. I made some adjustment to the sugar, used 1/2 c brown sugar and 2 tbs white sugar, and it's perfectly sweet!
But how come mine isn't as dark? yellow egg yolks and not overly ripe bananas perhaps?

Hi my cake turned out fabulous, the only difference was I used salted butter so did not add salt! Also used a cake mould as I dint have a bread pan!! Thanks!!! Will be making it often
