Great review of both grills! Details of both grills were very helpful in deciding which is best to buy. One being more expensive than the other this really helps in deciding and showing that the most expensive is not always the right one to buy.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
2024 sams is selling now a cheaper version of the defective weber you're showing on this video. Sad.
Tnks for your video
If anyone in the comments is giving away or selling their MM grill let me know would love to have an extra one even though had mine 5ys and mine still works great. However i do need a cover if anybody has one i lost mine.
The members Mark is trash. Mine lasted 2 years then started rusting out. The grill grate lasted less than a few weeks before cracking. Weber is the better buy even if it was 5x the price of the members mark. My weber is 6 years old, still looks new, and is still under warranty.
Great price & easy to assemble…
Neither one can touch Walmarts Expert Kettle Grill
Weber is made in America. It’s an easy decision for most people.
Had both. What i noticed is the mark does not seal properly. And it cast iorn cracked aftter a few uses. Seems like quality is not as good. Webber has lasted me longer and it works better for smoking. I do like four legs but in all honesty the webber is far superior. I eneded up donating my mark.
“I dealt with my meat.” Classic.
Maybe the China made grill has some petroleum product and non-heat resistant paint that was burning off imparting a melange of toxic smoke
damn this vid got so much hate in the comments…. :/ anyway, i still liked seeing the other grill. i hear the cast iron grates rust really bad, otherwise they seem like a great idea. maybe just keep em inside? idk. plus, cost of sams club membership would factor in…. and that apparently that kettle doesn't have replacement parts. oh that ash catcher. i just messed with one of these in person for the first time and it took me a second to work out how it was meant to go in. overall tho, the thing felt super nice in person. it had the warming rack riser and the thing felt top notch. temp seems REALLY dependent on what all your vents are doing, bottom should be full blast open (according to weber), so maybe that or a bum thermometer.
thanks for showing another brand kettle. i know everyone says weber immediately, and that's cool. but i figure there's gotta be other brands that are also good and im just curious what they are.
Ill admit for the price of the Sam's grill, that is basically the cost of a decent cast iron grate. With that said, you obviously don't understand how a Weber kettle works. Come on by Ill show you burger and some dogs real quick!
I got a Weber like this in the sale today and it’s nice but not worth the £300 asking price. I paid half that.
I know it’s 4 years late, but I’ll post it anyways. When there’s so much smoke coming out on the sides, it means it doesn’t have a good seal. Smoke escaping on the sides like that is bad for smoking bbq and burning speed, so the best thing to do is to buy a gasket seal to put on both pieces.
Clearly a weber hater.. joke of a review
I had the members mark one I didn't like it got damaged with in 3 months and not a fan of the cast iron hard as heck to clean
I've found the 3 legs to being more sturdy than any 4 leg small grill I've had
Decent review. I have the weber kettle myself. There was a slight learning curve at first, but now every time I use it, it's been fantastic. I keep the bottom vent wide open and control the temp with just the top vent, I keep mine usually fully open when cooking something like burgers and dogs. I use B&B briquettes / lump. They seem to work way better than the 2 major brands you find everywhere. 1 full chimney, poured onto 1 side of the kettle for 2 zone grilling. Works great and I never have issues with it heating back up. The Member's Mark kettle at that price is a steal, though. My only concern is how well the coating will last, especially when using Lump for high heat searing. My weber is about 5 years old now, and it looks almost new when you wipe it down. PS: Jack, you failed to mention that the weber has a self-cleaning ash sweeper, it does a really great job of forcing the ashes down into the bin, whereas with the MM you have to do that manually by hand.

I think Members Mark is better because it has off road tires ))))
Your opinion is kind of ,,,,,, nope
You should to add the cost of a Sam's Club membership to the price of that grill. I think that's be a more fair price depiction.
It’s a warming rack, not a cooling rack. You’re comparing Weber’s Master Touch to the Sam’s Club grill. As far as price goes, Weber has several other more affordable versions of the 22” kettle that would have been more in line with the Sam’s Club grill. If you’re gonna make a video comparing grills, you should be a bit more knowledgeable about the products.
When the comments are far superior to the video
Wtf…horrible review.
With all that lump there's no way in hell that the temp didn't go past 200°. This review was TERRIBLE.🤦🏿♂️🤣🤣🤣
Does Sam's Still sell the Kettle Smoker?
Good review but must read manuals. My Weber must have top vent open full always or the coals will die. I rarely had to adjust bottom vent, but then all grills are different in some way. Aww gee, guess we gotta practice grilling more. Life is so rough 😌 Webers not cheap but they last even outside. Looks like both grills will do a steak just fine.
Is this a parody of a review, or real? I am mad at myself for giving you the additional view. And now I'm leaving a comment which is worse… But seriously, you appear to know nothing about these grills aside from the price.
You seem like a Weber hater to me.
Dude can even squeeze the handle
Total BS
*Inside of burger looks like shredded cardboard* "Looks perfect!"
Brainwashed by Walmart. Cooling rack? really? On a BBQ. Dorthy, we're not baking cookies.
what a farce this guy is. Total fake review pushing Sams crap
Wow, you didn't tighten the leg bolts on the Weber. No wonder it wobbles. Mine doesn't wobble like that. Just yesterday i bumped it pretty hard with my backend and it stayed up anyway. it's heavy once fully loaded.
You obviously have absolutely no idea what you’re doing
Do a new review. Love Weber it’s a far superior grill to the Members mark.
Weber grills are not using as thick a grade steel as they used to do. My old Weber, which I still have, is heavier and more heat retentive than the new Weber that friend gave me.
OMG ! What a pathetic review how insulting !
Had to stop watching at this only has 3 legs. Surprised comments were allowed.
I was considering the weber kettle but I didn't know it doesn't go above 200… Thanks for the review! Lol just kidding 😂
Your phony grunting while pretending the ask basket handle was SO hard to squeeze was a little over the top, don’t you think? You can’t possibly be that weak. Fake review.
This guy , what a “mark”
I don't know whats worst. This or your Akorn review.
That was hilarious! Thanks for the laughs 😁😁
How can millions of people get a Weber to work yet he can’t 🤔
So I've owned the Member's Mark for around 2 years now.
Pros: I kept it outside in North Carolina and it never developed rust. A nice little sturdy* grill that does the job. The cast iron grate is heavy duty.
Cons: It felt very sturdy EXCEPT for the support tabs that hold up that heavy cast iron grate. One of mine just snapped off while cooking and unfortunately it doesn't look like you can buy just that part anywhere (and even if you could, you'd have to weld it on) Also, the bottom ash catch is extremely frustrating to remove.
So for the price, it was a decent grill while it lasted but you won't get the parts support you do from Weber. If they could strengthen those tabs to better support the heavy duty grate, it would be a cost effective choice. I think I may try the Weber next because it doesn't look like I'll be able to repair this cheaply, and I fear that the same problem will happen again setting down the heavy grate.
