BBQ Beef Tacos! | Chuds BBQ

If you see beef tongue on the menu it’s usually in the form of lengua tacos at a Mexican restaurant, and they are super tasty! Today I made some beef tongue tacos with homemade smoky salsa verde! For the most part this is an easy hands off cook! If you’re feeling a little adventurous you should definitely give this a try!

  1. It’s a lot easier to eat when it’s called lengua lol. I’ve enjoyed it many times off of taco trucks in Houston, though those days are behind me. I’m willing to give it a go if I can find it locally! Definitely not a heavy cut, goes well with onion, cilantro, and an extra-spicy salsa! That said it’s gotta be a reasonable price. Beef shank here is $5.99/lb which is ok, but oxtail is $7.99. Ridiculous!!!

  2. Great video dude. ArnieTex has a video on slow cooker barbacoa with tongue and cheek meat that is pretty good, but I haven’t seen a tongue taco video like this yet. Can’t wait to try it. Love your videos man, keep’’em coming.
