A juicy beef smash burger sounds delicious! Here’s a simple recipe to make a mouth-watering beef smash burger:
Ingredients:
– 4 hamburger buns
– 8 oz ground beef
– 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/4 teaspoon paprika
– 4 slices cheese (American, cheddar, or your favorite)
– Lettuce, tomato, pickles, and any other toppings you like
Instructions:
1. Prepare the beef:* In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well with your hands or a spoon until just combined. Don’t overmix.
2. Form the patties:* Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal parts and shape each part into a ball. Flatten each ball slightly into a patty.
3. Smash the patties:Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Place a patty in the skillet and immediately press down on it with a spatula to “smash” it. This will sear the patty and create a crispy crust.
4. Cook the patties: Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the patties are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
5. Assemble the burgers:Toast the buns on the skillet or griddle. Add a cooked patty to each bun, followed by cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and any other toppings you like.
