Today we’re cooking up a classic corned beef hash recipe. You can mix your own leftover corned beef or use canned corned beef with diced potato and onion to create this hearty breakfast dish. I keep the seasoning simple with just a little pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce, so this dish doesn’t require many ingredients. For more tips on using canned corned beef, check out

Ingredients for a Corned Beef Hash Recipe
12 oz CANNED CORNED BEEF
2 med POTATOES
1 Lg ONION
2-3 Tbsp WORCESTERSHIRE
1 tsp PAPRIKA
1 tsp CARAWAY SEEDS (optional)
OIL for the skillet
SALT and PEPPER to taste
…add a little fresh or dried HOT PEPPER if desired
How to make Corned Beef Hash
Heat oil in a skillet on medium heat.
I like to slice and sear my corned beef in the skillet while I prep the other ingredients for this dish. Corned beef in the can is already cooked, but that sear adds even more flavor to the recipe.
Remove seared beef from the skillet and set aside.
Add in diced potatoes. Cut potatoes uniformly, slightly smaller than a game die. You can skin the potatoes if you like, but why? It’s easier not to skin the potatoes, and the skin is good, so think about it, dude. Sauté potatoes for about five minutes. Give the dish an occasional stir, but not too much.
Mix in the chopped onion, and continue sautéing another 5 minutes.
Add in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper and cook for another 5 minutes.
Shred corned beef into the skillet and mix well. Raise the skillet temperature to medium high and continue cooking 5-10 minutes more, or until the dish is done to your liking.

Excellent video! Thanks!
NASSA spent thousands researching something to write with in space…the Russians simply used a pencil. Don’t complicate getting corned beef out of the tin…simply use a fork between the tin can and the corned beef and prise it out. It works for me….and no doubt the Russians.
Hello greedings from Germany i've cooked this meal with my grandpa and it tastet great! Thanks for the great recipe , I wish yall a good day!
Baby talk, puhleez!
Sounds good. But please don't use baby talk.
Pinch the sides of the can on all four sides to compress the meat in addition to the air hole on top and the meat slides out every time. Works great with refried beans too. Love your recipe. I like to crush it all up and then with the spatula sort make a rough patty in order to crisp some of it but stiil leave most soft. Gosh my mouth is watering now. Unfortunately my wife wont let me make this as much as i would like to. She loves it too but she now makes me use ground turkey in a hash because she says she wants me to live a little longer. Oh well. A happy wife is a happy life.
A skillet has Legs, what you mean is a Frying Pan….Ye Gods, Butchered English? When will the USA Learn ??
Run the can under hot water just before you open it.
Yummy, I love ❤️ Corn Beef Hash.
Add a single stalk of chopped celery and a cut up green pepper. I prefer less onions but to each their own. This can be cooked over an open fire in a cast iron Dutch oven whe I was a kid my dad would always cook up a batch when we went camping. That Dutch oven was always empty by the time my brothers and I were done with it.
try microwaving your chopped potatoes for 2-3 minutes before adding to your frying pan. This will give them a bit of a headstart and won't interfere with the flavour.
That kind of corn beef is very expensive. I like to make my own.
Sure. I want to learn cooking from somebody challenged operating a can. Hysterical!
blow in the hole and it will fly out the can!!

Love hash! Gonna make this! Thanks.
That is not a corned beef hash !! It's just a mix of your own thing along with a failed can opening like you think your audience is eleven years old and needs tutoring on this !
Libby's was rated the best by the way
Looks easy. I will try 😁
Werceter-sistersister-shire sauce haha
Once opened slide a blunt knife up the side and bent out slightly then it falls out
I don't have caraway seeds but I do have some fennel I need to use. I wonder how they would taste?
This recipe is simply fantastic, been making it this way since I first watched this video last year.
Few tips: Try parboiling the potatoes for a for a good few mins to soften them up, any Brits who can't get hold of caraway seeds, fennel seeds work great! And for heat lovers, match the paprika with a tsp of chili powder
