Line the box with 2 shopping bags first, then put the popcorn and cookies in and top with more popcorn.
Carefully seal the bags.
This way the popcorn doesn't get stale and it's a bonus treat.
We did this for my brother and brother in law and then years later for my nephews when they were in boot camp and/or deployed. Their friends enjoyed the popcorn as much as the cookies 😊
What year is it?
In 1968 my Mom shipped chocolate chip cookies on a regular basis to me during my tour in Vietnam. They arrived fresh and not a single break or blemish. Popcorn packing was the trick. My buddies thought I was receiving a box of stale popcorn……..the hidden gems were all for me. Although they soon caught on to the packaging scheme………😂
Just put the food in a reusable tin and throw in box surrounding tin with crumpled newspaper. Or put the food inside a second box. Do same as above – crumpled newspaper between boxes on all sides. Works for me.
Why would you 'test' this by… not actually shipping them? Storing and moving them around is not shipping. Do better, ATK. Bit late on this one too hah
