Kiwi & Tomatillo Salsa Braised Pork:
“This tender pork shoulder, braised low and slow in a bright kiwi and tomatillo salsa, can live many lives. Serve it over rice, in between bread, which would make a BBQ pulled pork sandwich jealous, or make some of the best tacos you’ve ever had. While there are quite a few ingredients and steps, it all comes together before you know it, and the process itself is incredibly satisfying. I’d even go as far as to say that it is a joy to cook.” — César Pérez

Will definitely be recreating. Do you think leftovers will do well in the freezer?
Medalla 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷
Want to make this, but wondering what other fruit to use instead of kiwis. Kiwis destroys the inside of my mouth, like someone scoured my tongue with cleansing powder.
love the ingredients…just happen to have a frozen shoulder defrosting. Off to the store. Thank you for sharing
This guy is so cute! And I love how he explains everything. I could watch him all day
use pork as fruit or vegetables plant fertilizer sir
❤❤❤
Amazing looking, Never cooked with tomatillos but this looks so good.
This looks 👏🏾
César with another banger 😋 My My My. That flat bread 😂. Elvin…I apologize but I laughed at your pain.
I wonder if I could make this recipe with the kiwis I got. They’re pre-sliced (🙄 I know, dumb of me but they were just there so I grabbed them) and they are far from ripe. A smoothie would be obvious but I think this might be the recipe I need to use them
This looks amazing! I was crying when they tasted it! On a more serious note, its important to let folks know that pink peppercorns are related to cashews and should be considered an allergen for those with tree nut allergies.
Seeing the words “kiwi” and “tomatillo” written side-by-side is EXACTLY the type of wild idea that lights up my barbarian foodie neurons like a meteor shower.
