Sorry y’all! Something unexpectedly came up after I finished filming this today so I wasn’t able to finish a full edit. I’ll have it up tomorrow for Day 23!
From where I live it is called ampalaya and I didn't like it at first, until my mom decided to try adding it to scrambled eggs with chives. And sometimes making it into a salad with soy sauce and spices, and baked bitter melon that's been cut in half and stuffed with ground beef.

Where I’m from we call bitter melons “margoze” & I used to think as a kid that enjoying them was some kind of obscure skill you could magically unlock once you got over the age of 70 because I never saw anyone younger than that enjoying eating those tastebuds killing abominations

I had ramen for lunch today & thought of your channel.
Just the shrimp flavored cheap grocery store stuff, but I added a scrambled egg dropped in like egg frog soup, 2 slices of Kraft cheese which melted great, green onion, & a few squirts of honey. Not authentic & a mess but super yummy & warm!

those bitter things taste so good when you fry it in spicy breading..you have to thinely slice it tho so its really time consuming and you cant fry it all at once you have to drop three or 5 in the hot oil very carefully but i swear its so worth it in my opinion
