I have had several request for this video and today I did it. Here is machacado or machaca con huevos. You also may have called this carne seca as I did growing up, which is a crushed dried beef. I like to make the family breakfast tacos with this which always is a hit.

Looks delicious!!
Followed your recipe and man, it was delicious.
Cool video and thank you for the pointers 🙂 … just side note, those are not taco’s. When you have a regular “normal size” flour tortilla putting stuff into it, it is now then called a burrito. When you have a corn tortilla and or a smaller in size flour tortilla (like the size of the “normal” corn tortilla…. It is called a taco and that corn tortilla sized flour tortilla can now be called a taco.
Dude fire 🔥 I just got some machaca from Mexico can’t wait to make these heuvos
I just got back from Monterrey Mexico and I ate machacado every morning. I am already craving it!
Great recipe but I'd sub the packaged crap for actual meat slow roasted in the instapot over night. Wake up early and salt it and throw it in the fridge, let it dry, THEN do what u did.
What I do like about ur recipe is literally everything else. U did everything from scratch except the meat which u used packaged meat for some odd unknown weird reason and I am being harsh because this is an A+ authentic recipe that is literally just missing that little bit of extra effort.to.make it fantastic.
If u really fill those tacos up and make the tortillas a little smaller u can sell those tacos 3 at a time. Gringos would pay like $8 a plate. Real talk.
Real question tho, why do ur tortillas bubble?
I come from New Mexico and our tortillas don't bubble up like that. Just a little bit then u flip. But ours are a lot thicker. Im assuming it has something to do with the composition of the masa?

My client just bought me this..so I gotta see how to cook it
My abuelita made it the same except she also put diced bell peppers i it.
Where did you get that tilt color pan?????
We're do you buy the meat ?
Thanks for the video 👍 I just cooked my machaco following your recipe 😋
This looks amazing, thank you for sharing. I'll be ordering off amazon asap.
Interestingly dried meat plus melted fat is pemican a ancient traditional native food.
🔥! Yo this looks hella good !
I wish machaca was easier to find in the USA. When I used to travel to Texas or Mexico I would always get a few pounds but it is even hard to find on the intranet right now especially. I have seen people put beef jerky in a blender but it is not as good as the real thing. Good video.
Made this morning and so delicious!!
I’m going to make this and add queso fresco, nom!
We buy the whole slab of dried beef from Mexico every time my mom visits family then we have to shred it ourselves or we just eat it like jerky from the slab.
one of the best tacos 🖤 have u made a carne guisada video??
My abuelita would be so proud of how your tortillas bubble up! 😭
Looks absolutely delicious!! Great recipe and video. 😊👍
I used to love when my mom made tortillas and I would always get that little bit of masa that was left over for a tiny tortilla I would let it get crispy and slather butter on it. 😱 it was the best ever. This breakfast looks so good. Gonna make some now.
REQUEST!!!! WILL YOU PLEASE SHOW HOW TO MAKE THE HOT CHEETO TAMALES THAT ARE POPULAR RIGHT NOW?
Merry Christmas 🎄 ☃️❄️🌨️🦌🎅
Looks delicious. I will be doing this with my tortillas from now on. Love it!
I had no idea this was supposed to be dried beef. I always just used leftover roast or barbacoa.
Very nice 😎
Mmmmm

I'm drooling on my keyboard…
A lot of your simple, quick recipes/dishes are things that my mom would have made, and it reminds me of her all the time..
Hi, never seen thia before, but it !ooks delicious! 😄
Omg 😋 I’m making this in the morning!
Hi where did you buy the dried beef?
That looks delicious!!! Que hambre me ha dado 😉
That looks delicious, thank you for sharing your videos.
I have to say, I have never had that before but one thing is for sure. I will give it a try.
A long time ago I came for the tortillas, but I stayed for the everything else.
I couldn't tell what brand is the dried beef. Will it be in the Mexican section of the grocery store? I don't think I've ever seen it before.
Nothing better then a tacito.mmmmmmmm ❤❤❤❤
I love watching the tortillas puff up!
Your tortillas sure are pretty.
Where did you get you tortilla pan?
Wow. Thank you SO much for this recipe! My nana would make this all the time growing up and now that I’m in my mid 20’s, I never was able to remember the name of it… thank you thank you!!!
This is one of my favorite breakfast dishes! When my mom made tortillas, I was the first one in line with butter. I loved when my mom made them!!
Omg !! This brings back memories. My dad and I used to go out for breakfast every Saturday and I used to order this all the time.❤️❤️❤️❤️
