This was my very first attempt at the controversial trisket inspired by the homie @svenddiesel who’s been perfecting these for a while. It’s definitely different… you still get that rich, beefy tri-tip flavor, but with the smokiness and tender texture of a brisket. I’ve gotta say, I really enjoyed it and so did my family. 💯

I’ll most definitely be firing up the smoker for another one soon.

    • Smoked at 225-250 until an internal temp of around 175F and spritzing every hour.
    • Wrapped in beef tallow and back on the smoker until it reached 200-203F and was probe tender.

Total cook time was roughly 6hrs
