This video is about Buckwheat Banana Bread
Buckwheat flour -1 3/4 Cups
Cinnamon powder – 2 tsps (heaped)
Baking powder – 2 tsps (heaped)
Salt – 1/4 tsp
Banana – 4 nos
Oil – 1/3 cup
Maple Syrup – 1/3 Cup
Vanilla Extract – 2 tsps
In a small sized bowl, add buckwheat flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon powder and mix well.
In another medium sized bowl, add banana. Mash it well with a fork. Then add oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract and mix well until combined. Little by little add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix everything well until combined uniformly. Pour the batter in a baking pan. Bake at 350 F for 50 minutes or until fork comes out clean. Cool it in the pan itself for 10 minutes before moving on to the cooling rack. Slice them once they are cooled completely.
Tastes delicious with nut butter as topping.
Notes :
1. Buckwheat is a complete protein. so this bread is very very healthy.
2. Natural sugar from maple syrup is used.
3.Tastes great with peanut butter as a spread.
4. Stays good at room temperature. But I prefer to store it in fridge and reheat whenever needed.
5. Ours usually get over in a week. So have not tested beyond that.

I made this bread just as recipe is written, and it was very good…I'm on gf diet and tested sensitive for rice and eggs too, so recipes I can use are few and far between. This was moist and had good banana taste. I enjoyed the entire loaf!!!
