The Camp Chef Woodwind Pro Pellet Grill is a fantastic pit that can do just about anything once you add the sidekick to it! But the biggest bonus to this pit is the “smoke box”. You can add a few chunks of wood or charcoal to seriously enhance and amplify your backyard bbq fun! I am very impressed with what Camp Chef added to their new models lately and the build quality on this pit is great! Out of the all the pellet grills that I have ran only a couple of the controllers stand out to me and this controller is one of the best looking with plenty of functions. I really enjoyed running this pit and I think you will too! Thanks for watching!!

Can one use a cast iron pan over the cook top flame? Stupid question, I know
22 # hopper I thought? Excellent video.
I appreciate your videos boss! I was getting ready to drop 3 plus grand on a new Treager because that's what i learned how to smoke with! I'm gonna get this Camp Chef Pro.
Perfect reviewā¦lthanks
Thanks for the great review. I have limited space for this grill. With the sidekick attached it would not roll into the space on my outdoor kitchen. If I rolled it out on the casters then the sidekick would fit. So my question is: is it practical to install the sidekick when I want to roll it out and then uninstall it when I roll it back. Thanks again.
Does the flattop have a grease run off trap like other griddles?
I know this is an old review but what cutting board is that? Great video !
I've owned a Grilla Silverbac original for about 6 years. After last nights' flameout (the 3rd this month) I am in the market. I am officially obsessed with this and I'm thinking I might risk my wife beating me and getting the 36.
How long is the power cord on this?
I need it!
Which do you like better the woodwind pro or the Lonestar and why?
I love everything about this grill, construction, features, stainless steel, probes, but no stack is a deal breaker for me š I need to be able to move most of my smoke past a fence in my small backyard. The charcoal box is a super nice feature, but I guess that's what I give up to get the stack.
Very much liked this review. Been doing lots of research on pellet grills. Because I have an offset and a barrel smoker, I was looking for something just like this in a pellet grill, one that I can still get smoke flavor out of my cooks with the convenience of a set it and forget it. I know this grill wonāt last me forever but Iām okay with that.
Any plans to do a cook off to compare the new camp chef woodwind pro vs new pit boss elite pro 1600 pse with vst vs the new Weber smokefire sear + exl6. Iām looking to purchase a new pellet grill and Iām interested in performance , build quality , warranty. I know the camp chef is all stainless steel but the grates are not. Do you know of anyone who makes stainless steel grates for the camp chef. Love your videos,
Very informative and love how you get the family involved! Keep on smoking !
Iām buying a new pit⦠now you have me all confused⦠should I get this or the Pitboss Elite ā¦..
What about the sidekick? You didn't give your impressions of it (say, vs Weber's Sear+ inside the smoker Cast Iron Grate).
Realize this video is 4 months old. I read a review about the hopper and some complaints about it. That the window telling you how full it is is misleading because of the design it feeds from the center. Also that the empty function isn't 100% and that they had to use a dowel to help because of the grate. Are this concerns of yours? Thanks in advance.
You really gotta put this against the pitboss elite in a smoke out
Do you need the sidekick for searing or is there another way to sear her with this bad boy?
i would like to see this grill in person here in Madison Wi. I cannot find a store. That has 1 to look at..any advice? I have been to Dicks already.
I think it's a 22# hopper
Are they the only pellet smoker with the smoke box option?
Good God, can you just talk like a normal personal instead of a f'n cartoon character? This is unwatchable.
Can you use the side kick as a gas burner with the sear box or just with the flat top?
