Naomi’s mum has taught her a very special way to make a special Senegalese seafood dish called mafé fish.
This dish contains peanut butter so it is important that you get a grown up to check that the people eating this dish are not allergic to peanuts.
If you would like to try making this dish you will need:
– 4 dessert spoons of peanut butter
– 400ml water
– 2 dessert spoons of tomato puree
– 1 yellow pepper
– 1/2 dried chilli flakes
– 1 teaspoon of dried mixed herbs
– 80g sweet potato
– 4 savoy cabbage leaves
– 320g mackerel fillets
– 2 garlic cloves
– 2 long shallots
– coriander for decoration
