  1. Mate you are gonna LOVE Japan! A real hidden gem of a restaurant I found was Sushi Ichigo in the Setagaya district of Tokyo, the meal was absolutely unreal! And you gotta try some roadside Yakitor stands while you're out there.

  2. Worst part of going out in public, is the public. Pro-shopping-tip from someone with similar problems: Spend way too much time researching every possible piece of information on a product, well in excess of what you would've spent actually buying something. That way, you don't need to ask anyone anything because you're now the expert of the thing.

  3. A portable gas stove like one you might use for camping. I live out of a van and I cook with gas because I would never have enough juice in my solar batteries to cook with electric. And cooking with gas is just the way to go.

  4. Excellent soup recipe mate! Never thought of adding miso, sesame oil, and ginger but I will next time!
Yea, the whole experience with shops…can’t do it. I stay home, research the heck out of things and then order it delivered. Because people and shops suck. Except you and Jules…you’re champions! Thanks Nat! Have a fantastic day!

  5. what a legend. turning a dog sh*t induction burner into a YouTube plaque may be the most aussie thing I've ever seen. fu*k you tube, and induction cooking. just get a $30 camping stove and crack into nat ya poof. ❤

  6. If you pop into Shinjuku, look on Google maps for Bar Composition. It’s a little underground, dark and quiet bar where they serve some of the best drinks I’ve had in my life. I’m not even a big drinker and I went there twice in 3 days 😂

  7. @nat’s what I reckon – I have used my tefal induction for many years and highly recommended it. Once you realise you only need the hotpot button and it’s 1-10 range heat settings and boost. I use the boil button for water, quicker than a kettle.

  8. Portable gas stoves are a thing, and you can run them off of disposable butane cans, you're not meant to use them indoors but solong as the room is ventilated you should be fine. You can pretty much find them at any camping shop.
