  1. You actually need only 4 or 5 brickets for such a small meal. Cobb recommends only 8 for a regular meal. Chicken or small roast. You can add chopped veggies in moat or small potatoes wrapped in foil. A cup of water in the moat will also keep food moist.

  2. Hmm . . . I was looking for a grill one step below a Weber kettle grill but one step above those extremely cheap cast-iron hibachi things that cost $10 at your local hardware store.

    This would be for cooking on our apartment balcony, as grilling is forbidden, the jerks! So we have to keep it extremely low-key. But this, unfortunately, doesn't seem to have the traditional grill surface that I'd like to have truly blackened and charred burgers etc. It just looks a little too clean to me—the food looks like it would steam as much as grill. But the concept is good!
