Abuela and Abuelo know that no one makes pork like Cubans, so here is a recipe straight from their kitchen! Enjoy cuban carne de puerco asada without having to cook an entire pig.

Directions:

Step 1:
De-bone the pork shoulder OR buy it from the grocery store in large chunks. If you debone it yourself, cut up the deboned meat into large chunks

Step 2:
Season the meat with Sazón Completo, salt, pepper, oregano and a touch of mojo. Let it sit while we cut and cook the onions

Step 3:
Cut a large onion in rings

Step 4:
Sauté the onions on high in a deep dish pot with oil until the onions are thoroughly cooked

Step 5:
Add the meat to the pot and mix in well with the onions to make sure each piece of meat gets hit by some onion!

Step 6:
Add some red cooking wine and soy sauce to the meat in the pot and mix it up

Step 7:
Set the heat to medium and cover the pot for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 8:
If the meat is still sitting in a lot of juices, uncover it and put the heat on high. Keep an eye on the meat to make sure it doesn’t dry out too quickly. The heat needs to be high enough so the the juices evaporate, but not
