Why would one want cool, solid chocolate? I put it all together and back over the heat for 30 seconds to get it melting together. Also, PB cups or Andes mints are game changers
The hard part to eating the Smores is keeping the cracker from falling or breaking into irregular size pieces .. Smaller is better to manage the coherency
Proper toasted marshmallows are done over coals. The browning comes from radiant heat, not flames. It's like using a pizza oven instead of a creme brulee torch. The perfect toasted marshmallow has a sticky core, a molten foamy goo of a "magma"/middle layer, and a uniform crust of a tan color that tastes completely different from a raw marshmallow. If this chef thinks this "toasted" marshmallow is "perfect", then he has never been to a bonfire/campfire & I pity him.
Cool and firm chocolate means it crushes as you bite it, squeezing out the marshmallow and leaving both a mess and the last bites as just chocolate and graham cracker.
My 6 year old daughter and I discovered that making s’mores with saltine crackers is way better than making them with graham crackers. The salty sweet is delicious.
If it's "perfect" as you claim, why are you frowning as you eat it? You have such a pained look on your face, lol. Your marshmallow should be a bit more cooked than you had it. Sorry, but we don't have to like the same thing cooked the same way. 😊
I like mine with chocolate sauce poured over guests' heads, graham crackers under their feet and then the chef lights the whole restaurant on fire when all the staff say "We love you chef"
I like my marshmallow’s to be like that SpongeBob scene where Patrick keeps blowing hot marshmallow goo into squidward’s face. If it doesn’t burn my mouth I don’t want it 😂

Ugh, gross. Char makes it taste awful and bitter. The outside should be an even golden brown across the entire surface never, ever charred
Swap out the chocolate for reeses peanut butter cups 😋
I miss the non-GMO s'mores from the 80s.
Ignore this short. Seek a marshmallow master like myself.
Yum 🤤
How about a Nutella Smores Croissant 🥐🤤😍

I only use dark chocolate for s’mores, helps to balance the sweetness 😊

U are soo handsome❤❤
Who invented this kooky recipe?

S'mores now have a whole different vibe after recently seeing The Menu.
I’m on team Melty Chocolate.
What about Nutella instead of Chocolate? 🌰🍫❤️
Never liked smores very much I invented bombers instead – much more fun
Must be homemade marshmallows, the effect is so much better! Definitely improved browning and fully molten interior!
Keebler fudge stripe cookies

Dan you are adorable.
Here's an idea I've not tried but sounds delicious…substitute peppermint bark for the chocolate.
The marshmallow on the lips is a money shot!
Is this achievable without a torch?
i set the marshmallows on fire lmao
The inside needs to be gooier, outside should be deep golden brown all over. Hard to achieve, impossible to forget.
Love to cook, garden, and spread laughs 🎉
Not gonna lie…I love a totally burnt marshmallow.😋
Isn't the char poisonous?
I like mine with chocolate sauce poured over guests' heads, graham crackers under their feet and then the chef lights the whole restaurant on fire when all the staff say "We love you chef"
Normally I agree with you but this time no. The marshmallows should extra toasty and gooey enough to melt that chocolate. Dark chocolate is best.

Nah the chocolate needs to be a lil melty
How did you eat that without getting scalding molten marshmallow all over yourself?
I like mine with dark chocolate and more overall browning on the marshmallows where the inside pulls away from the firm brown crust
